Health & Prescription Drug Plan

Comprehensive preferred provider Health and Prescription Drug Plan for full- and part-time employees. Uses Blue Cross PPO network providers and includes prescription drug coverage. Pretax health and dependent care flexible-care spending accounts also available.

Dental Plan

Provides diagnostic and preventive care at 100%. Restorative and major services with co-insurance and deductible. Orthodontic services for dependent children.

Life Insurance

Two times annual salary fully paid by St. Joseph Medical Center.

Voluntary Life Insurance

Available at low group rates. Spouse and dependent children coverage available.

CHI Retirement Plan

Annual employer contributions of 5-10% of salary based on years of credited service. Fully vested after 5 years of credited service.

CHI (403b) Savings Plan

Supplemental retirement savings plan. Save on a pretax basis up to federal maximum.

Paid Time Off

Based on years of service and position.

Child Care

Onsite child daycare for infants to preschool ages. Operates Monday through Friday, 6 am - 6 pm. learn more about child care service 

Education Assistance

Full-time employees eligible for maximum of $5,250 reimbursement per calendar year. Part-time employees eligible for pro-rated amount.

Employee Assistance Program

Provides confidential and professional assessment and referral services.

Long-Term Disability Protection

Provides 60% of income benefit to eligible employees through age 65 or recovery. Fully funded by SJMC.

Short-Term Disability Protection

Provides income benefit of increasing amounts and duration based on service. Fully funded by St. Joseph Medical Center.

Credit Union

In-house credit union operated by employees for employees. Convent payroll deductions provided for participation in program.
