Learn the Art of Infant Massage for Moms & Dads - Start Date

Parents learn the art of infant massage for infants from birth to 12 months. Taught by a certified infant massage instructor and registered nurse. The department of Family Education at St. Joseph Medical Center offers a two-part class for parents of babies from birth to 12 months. The class helps strengthen parent-baby bonding, and provides numerous health benefits for infants. Baby Benefits from Massage include: Stimulates circulation; Increase digestion (can help weight gain); Reduces colic symptoms; Improves muscle tone coordination; Enhances body-mind connection; Calms nervous system; Improves sleep patterns. Cost is $30 for the pair of classes.
