The Marketing and Communications Department handles marketing, advertising, promotions, brochures, newsletters and other publications.

All media inquiries related to the medical center must be handled through this department. A physician or medical center employee involved in a news story that will bring the media to the medical center must contact public relations to obtain necessary clearances and inform the appropriate medical center departments. Media relations staff may be reached 24 hours a day by calling the nursing supervisor.

Doctors Directory

As a service to the community and physicians, St. Joseph Medical Center offers a free physician referral service known as Doctors Directory. Doctors Directory gives the names of two to three physicians who meet the caller's criteria. The service also handles Baby Beepers for expectant parents and provides general information. In addition, community members can also use this line to register for a variety of free health seminars and screenings.
