The Performance Improvement Department monitors and evaluates the quality and appropriateness of care to ensure that the highest quality of patient care is provided in the most efficient manner.

This department coordinates the medical center-wide quality management and improvement process. Staff monitor the quality and appropriateness of care to ensure that the highest quality of patient care is provided. Additionally, the section monitors compliance to Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) standards and coordinates JCAHO surveys and education processes.
